| Responsibilities |
Reporting to the Engineering Manager in Korea or Germany, you will be responsible for application
development of automotive power closures such as PSD(Power Sliding Door), PTL(Power Trunk Lid)
and PTG(Power Tail Gate). The applications engineer- control systems is responsible to deliver control
systems products which meet or exceed customer requirements. Product scope includes integrated
motor control or separate Electronic Control Modules, as well as Vehicle Interface and Powerise EMC.
The Control Systems engineer works directly with both the Customer and internal/supplier product
teams.
- Serve as primary Technical Contact to customer development and launch organization.
- Function as primary technical partner for Tier II ECU manufacturer and/
or Stabilus Internal Development team.
- Plan and execute Project deliverables according to customer and STAB.3P requirements including
FMEA, Control Plan, Drawings, Validation Plan, etc…
- Identify and validate product solutions which minimize product cost and maximize profitability.
- Collaborate with customers to develop application solutions driving new business growth.
- Evaluate and Negotiate customer specification. Cascade system requirements internally and to
suppliers.
- Coordinate System Level Software Parameterization and Validation
- Provide product engineering support at customer design and production locations as necessary.
- Provide the global Stabilus organization with application/product competitive benchmarking
information
- Adhere to relevant quality standards including IATF16949 and ISO26262
- Identity and resolve product problems throughout the validation and launch processes. Solutions
must fully address root cause and prevention of reoccurrence. . |
Qualifications &
Skills |
- Bachelors of Science or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
- Min 3~5 years' experience in automotive product or application engineering is preferred.
- Demonstrated history performance in achieving business objectives while in technical positions.
- Experience with System integration of Mechanical and Embedded systems
- Experience with Automotive/Industrial Communication Interface (LIN; CAN; Flexray)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in both English and Local Language.
- Working Knowledge of Motion Control Design (Close Loop System)
- Working Knowledge of Automotive Functional Safety requirements (ISO26262)
- AUTOSAR Concept knowledge
- Familiarity with Software Development Process (Build, Debug, Validation)
- Analytical background for electronic circuit design
- Ability to Evaluate and Communicate EMC Test results
- Ability to understand Software Code, preferably direct Experience in Coding (C, C++)
- Aptitude with standard engineering disciplines especially DVP&R and DFMEA.
- Practical competence with measurement systems such as Oscilloscopes and DAQ.

| Work Place |
- Your primary work place is Uiwang city in Korea. But frequently oversea travel will be required to
Stabilus and Customer's engineering center and production line. |
