JOB TITLE: Area Sales Representative

DEPARTMENT: Sales (Livestock)

POSITION RESPONSIBLE TO: LS South Team District Sales Manager

1. PURPOSE OF POSITION/ROLE

Meet or exceed personal objectives, sales performance  targets and satisfy customers within designated territory

2. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1) Financial Performance
Achieve individual targets within designated territory
Monitor and manage relevant financial status of customers including their collateral and credit limit
Seek support from District Sales Manager to resolve problem customers
Returned Goods: Manage returned goods within the company returned goods policy. 

2) Strategies & Policies
Manage territory accounts in accordance with the sales policies and strategies in order to maximize profitability of existing business and develop new opportunities
Develop territory sales plans to grow business through existing and new customers in coordination with DMs

3) Allocation of Resources
Develop and implement a systematic sales call cycle (including pre-call planning and post call analysis)
Maximize effective utilization of personal time and promotional resources considering customers’ grade, potential and other prioritization factors 
Allocate promotional resources properly
Insure maximum return on minimum expenses

4) Customer Training
Fully utilize training opportunities provided by the company to maximize individual development and achievement of individual targets

5) Customer Relations
Analyze customers to identify their purchasing patterns and business attitudes 
Organize regular seminars or group details for customers in conjunction with District Managers, Technical Managers, or Regulatory Head

6) Communication 
Proactively share market & customer information
Provide periodic reports to District Managers, Technical Managers and Team Leader using an objective and fact based approach
